It’s only been a few days since the new Moto G was announced but The Good Guys have already dropped the price from $279 down to $268 (limit 3 per customer) with a $5 local door to door delivery charge which takes it to a total of $273.
It doesn’t yet appear to allow you to pick up in store as it didn’t matter which capital city postcode I plugged in, it came back with the following message:
“One or more products are unavailable for pick up near the postcode entered. Please try a different postcode or select delivery for your order.”
The estimated delivery for the product has also changed and according to The Good Guys website, it states it “Usually ships in 3 -5 business days”.
However, even with the $5 delivery charge it brings the cost of the phone to just above to the RRP of $269.
The new version available to order is a dual-sim, 8GB version with microSD card expansion slot up to 32 GB. It comes with a 5-inch 720p screen (up from 4.5-inch) front facing stereo speakers, 1GB of RAM and guaranteed upgrade to Android L.
You can check out the details on The Good Guys website or for the full specs go straight to the Motorola US website.
I’m very keen to have a look at the new Moto G when it hits the stores to see how it compares to the original.
Anyone else out there keen to pick one up or are you waiting for the new Moto X?
