G3 - Colour Range
When LG launched the G3 back in the May, we had a feeling it would be special, something that was confirmed when we reviewed the phone a little earlier this year. At launch, LG announced the phone would come in five different colours: Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold, Moon Violet and Burgundy Red. Unfortunately, we only got the Metallic Black, Silk White and Shine Gold models here in Australia, but that may be about to change with LG Australia listing the Moon Violet and Burgundy Red models on their website.

The phone is identical in spec to the original G3, with the same 5.5″ QHD resolution display, 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 13MP camera and Laser Auto-focus and 3,000mAh battery, the phone is simply laid out in two great new colours.

The phone is priced on the LG website with a recommended retail price of $729, and will sell through Harvey Norman stores. But, it may be a little cheaper than RRP when it reaches stores, with Harvey Norman currently selling the Satin White and Metallic Black for $684. The G3 is a great phone and if you want to get something a little different, then this may be what you’re after.

It would have been nice if LG used this update to also let Australia get the 3GB/32GB G3
