Well, the Glass Explorer program has ended, but that doesn’t mean that companies who have invested in the technology are ending their usage. Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) will be bringing Glass to Australia to show off a new way to perform makeovers.

According to InStyle Magazine, YSL will be using Glass in Myer and David Jones stores to work with customers to select their new look and then record the makeover process. Once the application has been completed your makeover, you will receive a ‘personalised video, complete with tips and step-by-step instructions, via email so you can watch and learn as often as you need to’.

It’s an interesting way to use Glass, and if you’re interested you can check it out in Myer and David Jones stores in Sydney and Melbourne over the next couple of weekends. If you’re interested, contact the stores below and book a session:

    It’s really not that hard to get a GLASS – less than $800 on swappa for a v2 (2GB version), I picked up 2 of them last year….

    So we finally get the v1 Google Glass here in Australia, but not to buy, merely to watch people from countries where it was available use it recording us.
