Desire 320 1
HTC has today announced that their cost effective Desire 310 handset, will be replaced this month with the Desire 320, which will be arriving in-store and online with Vodafone pre-paid.

The handset is a cost effective, entry level device, which will retail for $149 when it hits stores on the 11th of March. The Desire 320 will be available in Navy Blue, in a lovely Matte finish, a sort of soft touch that doesn’t show up those pesky fingerprints.

The Desire 320 comes with a 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor and 4.5″ screen and a 5MP camera. Exact specifications for the AU model will be made available on the HTC webpage closer to launch.

Running Android 4.4 KitKat, the Desire 320 also has most of the major software features of HTC’s Sense customisations including Blinkfeed which delivers personalised news at a glance and HTC Video for customising videos on the move.

Ben Hodgson, Country Manager HTC Australia and New Zealand said of the Desire 320:

Marrying super-fast processing with premium HTC features in a compact form, the HTC Desire 320 delivers a quality experience for the budget conscious well beyond its entry-level model status. Following on from the success of the HTC Desire 310, it boasts enhanced power and memory to enable more people to benefit from a quality smartphone experience that delivers the perfect balance between smart essentials and value.

It’s a decent little handset for a fairly decent price. If you like the look of the Desire 320 then jump onto the Vodafone website next week to grab one.
