This-is-How-the-Galaxy-S6-edge-is-Put-Together_main
In the lead-up to the launch of their new flagships, Samsung has been surprisingly on the ball with responses to videos and stories about their phones. A number of drop-test videos showed up, and Samsung released their own, and now in what seems to be a response to the less than favourable repairability rating from iFixit, Samsung has shown how the Galaxy S6 Edge handset is put together.

The video shows the handset being put together piece by piece, this isn’t a technical demonstration so the pieces come pre-fabbed without the hours of soldering components to circuit boards. The process is pretty interesting beginning with the technician clipping the fingerprint scanner into place, before the screen, battery, chargers and cameras are all clipped into place. Finally, the completely assembled phone is placed into its retail packaging with the rest of the accessories.
