opera-mini-android-2015

Opera Mini for Android has had a facelift, and it now behaves a lot like a full-featured Android browser. No longer do you have to choose between the efficiency of Opera Mini or the look of the full-sized older brother. Now, the core features more closely align with those of Opera proper, with redesigned Speed Dial shortcuts, private browsing mode and a customisable display which includes tablet sized features.

Of course, if you’re an Opera Mini user, you may well be using it because it allows you to scrimp on data usage, so there’s a Mini-specific data usage gauge that shows how much data you’ve saved using Opera Mini’s data saving features.

The app was not found in the store. 🙁

If you’re on a low-data mobile plan, Opera Mini might be worth taking a fresh look at.
