Family - Free App
After launching six years ago in October 2008 as the Android Market, Google has finally announced a ‘Free App of the Week’, but don’t get too excited, the app being offered is part of their new ‘Family’ push, which was announced at Google I/O and released earlier this week.

The first app to be offered is from PBS Kids – a brand for most of the children’s programming aired by the Public Broadcasting Service in the United States – the app is called: Daniel Tiger Grr-ific Feelings, which normally sells in Google Play for $3.68 – a decent savings.

The catch is you’ll actually have to drill into the Family section of Google Play and click on the ‘Free App’ banner – or that link 😉 – to get the saving, simply going to the app listing for Daniel Tiger Grr-ific Feelings in Google Play will show you the app but charge you the usual $3.68 price.

The game is available now for those who want to download it, and with a promotion named ‘Free App of the Week’ we’ll be sure to check out the next one when it pops up.
