What we’re seeing above are likely the first real images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, thanks to VentureBeat’s Evan Blass. Tweeted this morning, the images show three colour variants of the upcoming Note 7, including a Black Onyx, Silver Titanium and Blue Coral, in a 300% larger colour range than 2015’s single blue Note 5.

What else do we know about the Galaxy Note 7 at this stage? Frankly, not too much, and we probably won’t know a lot more until closer to the rumoured 2 August launch in New York. What we have heard is this, from previous rumours, shown compared to last year’s Galaxy Note 5:

  1. based on Samsung’s track record, all colours won’t be available in carrier shops. 🙁 Flex your muscles Samsung! Apple can do it. So can you.

  2. Waterproofing like the other 7s would be good. Great to see they’ve whacked a big battery into it.
