Each year Google hold their developers conference, Google I/O and not only does it offer a lot of help and information for developers but for us enthusiasts as well. Today Google have released a portion of the schedule for Google I/O 2017, the greatest I/O of all time (you’ll find out why later).

Beginning with the keynote at 10am PDT (West Coast USA time) on Wednesday May 17 Google I/O this year promises to do like it has every other year and keep us all enthralled and engaged. The keynote will bring the latest product and platform innovations from Google as usual. In a new addition this year there is also a Developers Keynote following that at 1pm, because apparently this is a developers conference.

Google I/O 2017 is then broken into 14 streams with over 150 technical sessions, every single one of them live streamed on the Google I/O website. Details of several of the sessions have been published on the I/O website today with many more to follow. This year there is also the opportunity for you to get your head around some technical topics of Google products or features using tutorials from Codelabs.

For those lucky enough to be attending you will be able to reserve your seats to the sessions before I/O starts — but there will still be first come first served seats available on the day. Google are also extending their office hours for the conference this year allowing developers greater opportunity to get their questions asked and answered by Googlers on the ground.

Beginning in under three weeks there will be a lot more information forthcoming regarding the schedule for Google IO 2017. If you want to check out some of the sessions already on the website head over to the Google I/O website.

This year promises to be the biggest, and greatest ever because Ausdroid will have not one, but two Ausdroiders (Dan and myself) attending and we are looking forward to hearing first hand what Google have to offer this year around.
