The design of the Oppo F3/F3 Plus is essentially the same, just the specs differ on these models – as will the price tag.
The highlight of the F3 is the dual front-facing camera setup, which features a 16MP sensor as well as a secondary 8MP sensor which allows for up to double the field of view of normal selfie cameras. There’s a 13MP camera on the rear, but it’s the front camera that’s the news here, with features like Selfie Panorama, Screen flash, Palm Shutter and the Beautify 4.0 app.
On the front is a 5.5″ FullHD (1920×1080) resolution IPS LCD display, while Under the hood, you’ll find a Mediatek (MT6750T) SoC with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (yes, there’s a microSD card slot too) and a 3200mAh battery to power it.
Under ‘bits and pieces’, you’ll find a 3.5mm headphone jack, and of course GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.
The Oppo F3 will be going on-sale in India, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and Myanmar on May 13th for $320USD, with more markets to follow.
You’d imagine with the Chinese Government’s love of spying that every Chinese phone would have an NFC chip so they can see what you buy and how much you spend but these cheap phones never do.
