It’s a bit hard to realise that its nearly one year since Niantic and the Pokemon Company brought us Pokemon GO and the Pokemon team have taken to their blog to launch another in-game event (similar to what they have done in the past) called ‘Adventure Week.’
Adventure Week, which runs from May 18th to May 25th, will see trainers encounter an increasing number of Rock-type Pokémon, including Omanyte, Kabuto along with their Evolutions. Though the team have stated that trainers will most likely see rare Rock critters such as Aerodactyl but also Onix and Sudowoodo as well.
Along with the rock type Pokemon, there will also be more items available at Poke Stops and when walking with your Buddy Pokémon you’ll only need to walk a quarter the usual distance to find Candy. The team have also stated that they have launched a new wardrobe item – an Adventurer’s Hat – which is available to all trainers for free, and who doesn’t like a freebie!
It’s been rumoured that Niantic is reportedly working on new gym changes to make battles more interesting, and introducing “raids,” legendary Pokémon and more, but we’ll just have to wait and see what Niantic and the Pokemon team have been cooking up in the next few months.
