The Samsung Galaxy Note launch is just over 2 weeks away, but the phone is of such intense interest there’s going to be more leaks in that time. Today the Note 8 has shown off for the cameras in new live photos.
In a now removed post on MyEveryDayTech.com and of course saved by Slashleaks, the photos show the phone in what seems to be a fairly final design. The phone is quite tall as you can see with the phone apparently sporting a 6.3″ QHD+ (2960×1440) resolution Super AMOLED curved ‘Infinity Display’. The front shot also shows that the morphing home button from the S8/S8+ will return on the Note 8.
The rear as you can see has the same (terrible) fingerprint placement as the S8/S8+ as well as the dual-camera setup which will include a 12MP wide-angle sensor behind an f1.7 aperture that includes dual-pixel autofocus, and a secondary 12MP sensor with a telephoto lens and f2.4 aperture.
August 23rd (August 24th AEST) is when we’ll see the Note 8 unveiled, but from what we know so far there’s not much that Samsung will have left to announce.
