Australian leather goods brand, Bellroy has announced their first offerings in the Made for Google accessory category with a Pixel 2/Pixel 2 XL leather cases and Pixelbook and Pixelbook Pen cases coming soon.

There will be three (technically four), cases provided by Bellroy with the Pixel 2/Pixel 2 XL cases carrying the Made for Google branding. The Pixel 2/Pixel 2 XL case will cost $45USD while the Pixel 2 XL case will cost $49USD, while the Pixelbook Sleeve will cost $89USD when it goes on-sale at bellroy.com or on store.google.com on the 9th of October. There will also be a Pixelbook Pen Clip coming soon for $29USD as well.

The Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 cases will be available in Black, Navy, Stone and Caramel colour options. The Bellroy description for their Pixel Cases reads:

The only leather case for Google Pixel. With clean lines, rounded edges and a super slim profile, you’ll barely notice your Pixel has a case on. Crafted from flex polymer for protection around the edges, and premium leather that ages well, it offers protection without sacrificing the beauty of the phone.

The Bellroy Pixelbook sleeve cover will come in two colours, Light Grey and Black. The Bellroy description for the Pixelbook sleeve reads:

Protective, clever and slim, it’s the ideal companion for your Google Pixelbook and Pixelbook Pen. The water-resistant woven fabric is complemented by a soft touch of leather, while the opening folds out into a stand, letting you work from anywhere.

The Pixelbook Penclip description is:

The Pixelbook Pen Clip has been designed to clip to your Google Pixelbook, so it is always at hand when you need it. No getting lost at the bottom of bags or rolling off tables unnoticed. The leather wrap is soft to the touch for a personal, premium feel.

We’ll see more of these, including hopefully Australian pricing when they go up for pre-order on October 9th.

    Really

Have a Mujjo case on the galaxy s8 – similar design and really quite nice in the hand and hardwearing – they look better as they wear and age.

I have a Bellroy wallet and it’s really well made and smartly designed. Not sure about a leather phone case though, would be interested to get hands on with one before buying.
