Google has this morning opened the floodgates for orders on the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL on the Google Store, and retailer JB HiFi has also begun taking pre-orders as well – but there’s a limited selection.

The Pixel 2 is available in both 64GB and 128GB storage options, but you can only get a 128GB model in Just Black, while the 64GB model you can purchase in either Clearly White or Just Black as well. The Pixel 2 XL is even more limited with only the Just Black model available in both 64GB and 128GB options.

The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are expected to ship from JB within 5-15 days – seemingly slightly faster than the 3-4 week turnaround expected from the Google Store. Delivery is an additional $9.95 on top of the price, so factor that in and you can’t click and collect.

Pricing for the phones appears to be exactly the same as on the Google Store:

JB Hi-FI is offering the Google Home Mini pre-order bonus on all models of the Pixel 2/Pixel 2 XL purchased until the 31st of December 2017. Don’t expect a choice of colour though, with the website advising the Home Mini will be the Chalk colour (Coral is a Google Store exclusive).

If you’re wanting to find out when they’re in stock, we’ve seen indications that the phones will be in stock in JB HiFi on October 31st, but that doesn’t guarantee your store will have stock. If you’re interested in ordering from JB head over to their website and get on it.

Charging a delivery fee on a $1000+ item?
Also, they are meant to be a discount retailer but sell it at rrp.

I want to get one so I can take it back and demand a refund because it has a major defect. I can’t plug my headphones in. 😉
