The OnePlus 6 is possibly one of the most highly anticipated handsets coming in the near future. New renders of the phone have appeared over night, showing the phone in three colours and with a coloured alert slider and OppoMart, a noted reseller of Oppo and OnePlus handsets has now added a placeholder page for the phone.

The renders, via GizmoChina, have been shared on Chinese social networking site Weibo, show the OnePlus 6 in three colour options including a stylish Blue, as well as the usual staid Black and White options. OnePlus have added a nice design flourish to the OnePlus 6 with a red coloured alert slider across all three models.

If those aren’t enough to whet your OnePlus appetite today, OppoMart has added a placeholder site for the phone, though amusingly they’re using an image of the front of the Oppo R15. Fair play to them though, the leaks of the OnePlus 6 so far seem to show the front of the phones looking very similar.

The specs listing on the page is in line with pretty much all the specs we’re expecting for the OnePlus 6, including a Snapdragon 845 processor, options for 6GB or 8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB storage options. Camera options listed are the same as the Oppo R15, but are definitely likely with a 20MP+16MP rear dual-camera setup with F2.6/F1.6 aperture.

The copy for the camera section shows this is really a placeholder, with OppoMart using the same copy from the Oneplus 5T throughout the descriptions in the various details sections on the page.

Pricing is likely off as well, with the price of AU$722.63 listed below what the leaked pricing for the phone has so far been, with TechGuide listing the price to start at ₹33,999 INR ($682.70AUD), though this could simply be the different markets pricing.

The OnePlus 6 should be announced soon, with an Avengers: Infinity War themed model expected it shouldn’t be too far off with that movie launching globally on April 25th. It shouldn’t be too much longer before we see this phone announced, then we’ll find out if it will come to Australia.

Recently adopted the OnePlus 5T and while I find it amazingly good, the alert slider is one feature I wish it did not have. Android’s Do Not Disturb feature was plenty fine for me (as you can time turning it on and off), but for some reason OnePlus disabled the Android DnD UI when they implemented the slider.

i’ll take a blue one thanks… I am assuming the Avengers one will be the blue with Avengers branding…. it’s a fair jump in price the 8GB/256GB compared with the 8GB/128GB 5T, assuming the 128GB 6 comes with *just* 6GB of RAM.
