The Google Pixel 2, twelve months on, is still one of the best smartphone cameras available. Google have created a new Instagram account to showcase great shots taken by a Pixel phone and inside have included some hidden surprises.
The Instagram is very artistic and looks like it took a graphic designer at Google a while to create. There are images taken with a Pixel phone throughout interspersed with various colours to suit and enhance the photos shown and create a #shotonpixel mosaic. There appears to be only 100 photos at this stage but there are 414 posts.
The first few posts mention that this is only the beginning and Instagram users who use the tag #teampixel will have a chance to have their photo featured on the account in the future. Obviously, the better and more creative your photo the greater the chance of having it featured.
Inside some of the posts Google are giving away Pixel 2 phones and to enter all you have to do is like that post to enter. The competition closes on October 4 with winners notified by Instagram direct message. I’m not going to tell you which posts have the competitions inside but once you find the first one it should be fairly obvious which ones have the competition. I counted ten in total but I could be wrong.
