If you’re a keen gamer you’ll note that today Rockstar has finally launched their long awaited sequel Red Dead Redemption 2. The game is vast, and carries an intricate story and you’ll be pleased to know there’s a companion app to help you navigate your way through.
The app, which is available for both Android and iOS, connects directly to either your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One as you play and according to Rockstar it will delivers’real-time interactive information to your smart device’.
Because the app is tied directly to your console, you can see all of your character, Arthur Morgan’s, info and stats on your device’s screen letting you disable the in-game HUD so you can get a more cinematic experience.
In the app you can see the map, and navigate your way around setting waypoints or marking areas of interest including tracking down Gang Members, Wanted Areas, and ‘key locations’ to further explore with a simple tap. You can also explore the map panning around and zooming at will. You’ll also be able to keep a journal, and access the Manual and the Red Dead Redemption 2 Complete Official Guide.
REAL-TIME MAP TRACKING
Track your position, set waypoints, find the nearest General Store, hide from the law, hunt your enemies and more with a full screen, real-time view of the in-game map connected directly to your game experience. Use pan and zoom functions to explore, easily spot Gang Members, Wanted Areas, and key locations. As you progress you’ll unlock important points of interest to easily locate Gunsmiths, Hotels, Camp, Saloons, Post Offices, Fences, Doctors, Tailors, Stables, and much more.
Get a more immersive gameplay experience by turning off additional elements from your main gameplay screen such as the mini-map, player attributes and cash balance, and having them displayed exclusively in-app.
JOURNAL
Arthur Morgan keeps a detailed journal of his experiences. When connected to the game you’ll be able to examine these entries and illustrations firsthand as new pages appear in the Journal.

might be ok if it actual worked on more android devices as right now it has a limited number of models it can work on , they need to fix it asap , and yeah i get new apps and games have teething problems but they need to pre test on a bigger market to make sure they work as not every one has the newest android , but lots have 5+ OS that is min android os
