As someone who works on the go most of the time, I sometimes miss the creature comforts that one can enjoy in a proper office or home setup. One of the luxuries I virtually cannot live without is a dual-screen option. Even as I’m writing this in a hotel room, I’ve got a second display set up — I’m using the hotel’s HDMI TV as a second display right now!

However, when you’re on the go, it isn’t often practical to take a bulky second screen with you, and that’s where ASUS’ ZenScreen Touch comes in. I have an older model of this screen, in fact, which doesn’t have touch input, and already I can feel my wallet crying out to me saying “no, don’t buy the new touch one!”

So what is it?

The ASUS ZenScreen Touch is a USB-C second display for your smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. Featuring a 15.6-inch 1080p display with 10-point multi touch input, it also has a 7,800 mAh built in battery with a protective case that folds up into a kickstand for easy viewing. However, even if you forget the case, there’s a hole in the corner of the screen that you can stick a pen or pencil through to hold it up in a pinch. Brilliant thinking.

No pricing or availability info has been made available just yet, though it’s got to be almost certain that this nifty little device will be coming to Australia. See you in line folks!
