With 2020’s first Samsung Unpacked event scheduled for 11 February 2020 in San Francisco we knew it wouldn’t be long for actually device photos to start leaking out, and today we’re getting our first look at a real pre production Galaxy S20+. Yes that’s right Samsung is skipping 11 through 19 and jumping right to 20 for their latest model, which if they keep pace with the year in future we’re on board for.

XDA got their hands on some device photos, including the don’t take photos of this device sticker (that was effective Samsung) which shows the front and back of the device is full clear images. All in all it looks very Samsung, and that’s not a bad thing. This is the + model which is expected the launch alongside a regular sized and Ultra model as well.

Around the front we have the almost bezel-less Infinity-O display with the punch hole camera. There’s no apparent space for a full Biometric Face ID style system on the front meaning Samsung is likely continuing with their in display fingerprint reader, hopefully it’s better than last years, perhaps using Qualcomm’s new tech. The panel also looks less curved than previous displays, something I’m happy about, but others may not be.

Around the back there are 4 Cameras, a flash and a pin hold aperture, perhaps fro a microphone? There’s no fingerprint sensor, not that we were expecting one and you can’t see any ports. Button wise there’s only a volume rocker and a power button, so good bye Bixby button.

With a little under a month to go until the official event you can expect a lot more leaks to start flooding out
