The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip not a new concept, it’s a horizontal fold vs vertical and it significantly reduces the folded footprint of the device.

We already know pretty much everything there is to know about the official launch, now we know when we can get our hands on it and the Aussie pricing.

Let’s start with the price…

It will set you back a cool AU$2,199 if you’re keen to pick up the Z Flip. With the latest devices, you need to – try at least to – look past the price tag and into what they are capable of.

Garry McGregor, VP of IT and Mobile for Samsung Electronics Australia said:

The Galaxy Z Flip has been a success globally since it’s unveiling at Samsung Unpacked in San Francisco last month. So much so, it has sold out in some markets due to the high demand.

Not just because it a mastery of design with clean, elegant lines but because the Galaxy Z Flip has been built with a purpose – it doesn’t fold just for fun. We have harnessed the potential of this foldable category, creating new ways to connect whether this is through video conferencing thanks to the freestop folding hinge and Flexmode or in experience via the Infinity Flex Display featuring Samsung’s Ultra Thin Glass.

If you’re keen enough to jump on the pre-order train then you can place your order from Friday 20 March via www.samsung.com and Samsung Experience Stores. The usual carrier and retail pathways are available as well through Optus, Vodafone, JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman.
