We all thought TikTok was for the youngsters, the teenagers of the world right? Seems not with a high resolution video of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 2 showing up overnight on the short video platform.

Although the Galaxy Z Fold 2 was announced at Unpacked on August 5 we did not see it in any great detail. The video, uploaded to TikTok by @Digitalsight, shows off the next gen fold device in its Mystic Black colour and gives a look at it from all angles along with some of the software.

We can see in the video above the front display along with the camera app, dialer app and a settings page, proving that users can choose between 60Hz or 120Hz refresh rates for the display.

At this stage we do not have a date for release in Australia you can register your interest to “find out more about the device”. For those interested be aware that it will not be a cheap device although it should offer some great improvements over the first generation which was actually well received after a few early false starts.

We are looking forward to getting hands on with this device for sure because it seems as if Samsung has made some great strides in development of their foldable device in only a year. It bodes well for a great future for foldable devices — although that price will need to come down before it is popular with the general public.
