Qualcomm has released their latest 5G mobile chip set in their 700 series: the Snapdragon 750G 5G SOC. The new gaming-focused upper mid tier processor is intended to bring enhanced performance, reliable gaming and 5G connectivity to the upper mid-tier/ lower premium tier.

With 5G going to be a growing technology across the world into the future, now is the time for the tech to find it’s way into new devises blazing a trial for longer life times and compatibility into the future. With devices lasting longer and longer these days we’re glad to see Qualcomm continue to widen their 5G offerings, even if the networks aren’t that robust yet.

The new 750G will offer up to 20% faster CPU performance and 10% GPU performance over the last generation chips in the 700 series. With these chips finding their way into important devices like the Pixel 5 we’re very interested in this new tier of SOC from Qualcomm. The 750G will include WIFI 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, 5G, support for 120Hz FHD+displays and multi camera support.

It is unclear when we will see this in a device available to consumers.
