OnePlus have become the masters of the slow tease. Each of their phone releases they slowly whet everyone’s appetite for their upcoming device building to a crescendo at the release date. Now with the OnePlus 8T release imminent they have revealed the upcoming smartphone in a short video.

The new video is just 17 seconds long and does not show a hell of a lot but from it you can see the usual OnePlus alert slider sitting above the power button along with the new rear camera module. The green colour itself looks to be a very striking green too — nothing subtle about that colour.

OnePlus have already revealed some of the features coming to the 8T which includes the same 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display that was in the 8 Pro, Warp charge 65 (yes, 65W fast charging), a 4,500mAh battery, Android 11 arriving pre-installed and a very Samsung-looking rear camera module.

The rear camera module will apparently house a 48MP main lens, a 16MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro lens and a 2MP monochrome sensor whereas the front facing selfie camera will be a 16MP lens. It will apparently be available in Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver starting at apparently €599.

The OnePlus 8T will be revealed to the world in full on October 15 (AEDT) so if you don’t mind buying from grey market importers or importing yourself and want a phone that promises to be decent value then this could be for you. In the meantime keep spamming OnePlus on their various media channels so they do not forget that we would love to see them sell their devices officially here one day.

I bought One Plus 1,3,5,6, and purely because of excellent Value and clean software and powerfull Hardware.

Looks like they are becoming a sell out by moving to be more like samsung with there UI and moving their phones in a price bracket that is more like samsung. plus installing bloatware from facebook. It seems like oneplus has gone to the dark side lol.

Its going to be pixel 5 for me this year.

No Scott, your headlessline for this article is a lie.
It’s not OnePlus doing teasing.
It’s YOU and Ausdroid doing the teasing, by posting yet another article on a device, unavailable in Australia, here.
