At Google IO today, Google unveiled a slew of new and future devices including a sneak peek at the upcoming Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. As you would imagine not a lot of information was shared but here’s what we know.

Overall Google is maintaining the look and feel of the Pixel 6 family with a very similar aesthetic. The now-iconic Cyclops camera bar has returned, but this time finished in stainless steel to match the side of the phone. Colour-wise Google has announced Pixel 7 will ship in Obsidian (block), Snow (white) and Lemongrass (yellow) while Pixel 7 Pro will ship in Obsidian (black), Snow (white), and Hazel (grey with rose gold accents).

Inside is a next-gen Tensor Processor promising even more helpful, personalised features to photos, videos, security, and speech recognition. The teases carefully avoid any front view of the devices, so it’s unclear if the display differences will remain between the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The Pixel 7 family is expected to be announced around October with no firm device launch, pricing or availability expected until much closer to that time.
