There’s new standalone streaming service available in Australia now as AMC+ Australia (American drama) bundled with Acorn TV (British/Aus/NZ series) and Shudder (Horror/Supernatural series) used to only be available through Amazon Prime or Apple TV.

AMC+ including Acorn TV and Shudder is now available as a direct bundle for $8.99/month (Acorn TV and Shudder are $6.99/month by themselves).

For a limited time you can get a bundle 1 year subscription for $59.98 which is 45% off the monthly price. If you’re not sure whether you’ll like the content try out the 7 day free trial.

Courtney Thomasma, General Manager of AMC+ said:

“Powered by AMC’s award-winning original series, AMC+ is a destination for ground breaking dramas and epic fan-driven franchises”.

“From iconic titles like Mad Men to exclusive new series from The Walking Dead Universe to fresh hits like Dark Winds and Moonhaven, AMC+ offers thousands of hours of premium programming for Australian viewers, including full access to Acorn TV and Shudder”.

“We are thrilled to bring our slate of critically acclaimed original series to audiences in Australia through a new suite of direct-to-consumer apps and look forward to the global premiere of our newest franchise Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire this Sunday.”

Acorn TV appeals to the same kind of audience as Britbox. It offers fan favourites such as Midsomer Murders, Agatha Christie’s Marple and Poirot as well as Acorn TV Originals, including Harry Wild, Recipes for Love and Murder, Darby and Joan and My Life is Murder.

Shudder offers horror, thrillers and the supernatural, from Hollywood favorites and cult classics to original series, documentaries and critically acclaimed new original movies.
