Jaybird have a strong history of delivering quality goods to consumers. Most recently we’ve taken a look at the Tarah Pro which Scott thought very highly of. Now we’re seeing the next generation appear in the form of the Vista Totally Wireless Sport Headphones.

Their new wireless earbuds offer users lightweight mobility, huge battery life and “EarthProof” (IPX7 as well as “crushproof”) construction. This makes them wearable in all weather conditions and even useful for sweaty folk like myself without the risk of damaging your investment because of water ingress.

The battery life offered is a whopping 16 hours of playback from a single charge and in case you’re caught short, 5 minutes charging in the case via the provided USB-C cable will give you an hour of playback.

This collaboration of capabilities came from the Jaybird team wanting to create the smallest, lightest and durable earbuds for athletes to provide great sound and devices that will last. The team at Jaybird also accept that not all ears are the same, so in the box you’ll find three different sized ear silicons. The fit is said to be outstanding and stable enough to stay put during almost any vigorous activities.

Redesigned 6mm milled drivers deliver improved precision, less harmonic distortion and better accuracy, leading to the perfect balance of great sound and warm bass. And the Jaybird app gives you total control for an unmatched custom audio experience.

The connection to your mobile device is via Bluetooth 5.0 which will give you opportunity to run stereo or independent ear calls, as well as access to the smart assistant on your chosen major mobile OS platform.

Available from mid-August at RRP of $299.95 the Jaybird Vista Totally Wireless will be a difficult sell to some buyers, but a no-brainer for others. We’ll be aiming to take a closer look once they become available and publish a detailed review.

“Their new wireless earbuds offer users lightweight mobility, huge battery life…”
“The battery life offered is a whopping 16 hours of playback from a single charge”

This sort of implies that this the battery of the earbuds themselves, not the earbuds (6 hours) + case (10 hours).

16 hours combined isn’t huge, though 16 from just the earbuds themselves would be. 6 hours from earbuds is pretty good, but I’d clarify that it’s 16 hours including the case.
