Panasonic Miracast BluRay Players
If you’re looking for a Miracast device to wirelessly display what is on your phone on your television, your options are fairly limited, the LG DWD-300 Miracast adapter is still yet to be available for sale separately from the Optimus G and the Netgear PTV3000 is still not released here as yet. Luckily Panasonic has just released two BluRay players which include Miracast compatability and they’re now available for sale.

There are two models, the DMP-BDT230 which is being sold at a RRP of $199 and the DMP-BDT330 which is being sold for a RRP of $299. Both models are Miracast Certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance and offer full-HD 3D Blu-ray playback with the higher end DMP-BDT330 offeing 4K2K(4K Resolution) playback.

The players are both on-sale through the Panasonic website, they’re also available from Harvey Norman, the DMP-BDT230 for $189 and the DMP-BDT330 for $276. If you’re in the market for a BluRay player as well as a Miracast device then these are certainly something to think about.

I have just brought the Panasonic DMP-BDT330 and want to use Miracast to hook up with my HTC one phone, I’m having a few difficulties, do I need to download an app, if so which one? Thanks Nicky

Hmmm, wouldn’t mind a blu ray player and am currently thinking of getting the LG Optimus G. Might be a win/win situation here…
