Samsung 2
Samsung’s keyboard cover for the S6 Edge+ which leaked the other day via Evleaks, has seen a little more fleshing out, thanks to Netherlands based online retailer Centralpoint, who have listed an accessory called the ‘S6+ Keyboard Cover silver’ for €48.

The cover which appears to incorporate a rear clip-on protector for the rear of the phone with the keyboard slipping over the screen was first shown off by Evan Blass, while the Centralpoint website doesn’t have a picture of the cover, thanks to Evan we do know what it will look like:

The keyboard cover is due to arrive in-stock on the 24th of August, which does give some credence to reports that Samsung will announce the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+ on the 13th of August before launching the phones into retail and carrier channels later this month.

The actual usefulness of the cover was a little divisive when we covered it, so there’s a definite use case for some people who do love their old hardware style keyboard. Whether we see the cover released here in Australia is another matter, with Samsung generally not great with their followup on accessories announced making it to our market. We’ll know more about the phone, accessories and release dates in a few days.
