HS8
LG has today announced the newest model in their wireless Google Cast enabled Music Flow speaker range, showing off the HS8 curved soundbar.

The soundbar will be going on-sale in Europe this week, and will be on display at the European consumer electronics show IFA in Berlin next month. The speaker offers all the great features of the Music Flow range, with the ability to connect wirelessly to other Music Flow speakers, as well as being controllable via an app.

The HS8 offers a 4.1 Channel Speaker System with 360W of power from 2 Tweeters (1 Left, 1 Right) with bass provided by the Wireless Subwoofer. The unit measures 1.2m long and is 43mm thick and just under 10cm high and can be mounted in front of a TV on a stand or wall mounted. The HS8 offers 24bit/192KHz Sampling and can be connected with LG Sound Sync.

Remote control compatibility is no issue with the HS8 supporting remote controls from an amazing 8 brands of major TV manufacturers.

While Google Cast is the big name feature, the HS8 also supports a wide variety of streaming music services such as Google Play Music, Pandora, TuneIn, Rdio, Spotify and Deezer.

We’ll be checking out the HS8 when we hit IFA in early September, though LG advised that pricing and availability for the HS8 Curved Sound Bar have yet to be determined for our market.

Shouldn’t it be curved the other way to throw the sound around the room rather than point it to the center??

Probably supposed to match the curve of their curved TVs
