Sony Australia has today announced availability for their latest High-Resolution Audio products which were announced at CES, the aptly named GO. ON. IN. range. The products themselves are called the h.ear ‘on’ Wireless Noise Cancelling headphones, h.ear ‘in’, Wireless in-ear Bluetooth earphones and the h.ear ‘go’, the worlds smallest portable high-resolution audio wireless speaker with multi-room capability including Google Cast and Spotify Connect.

The focus of the range is the high-resolution audio aspect, with Sony adding that the h.ear range also adds style, comfort and on-the-
go practicality with the great quality sound. The h.ear range utilises a new LDAC for wireless transmission of sound, which Sony says can transmit audio at up to 990 kbps – that’s 3x the data normally allowed by Bluetooth Audio.

As well as great quality sound, Sony, as usual has gone for a great look with the h.ear range available in five vibrant colours: Viridian Blue, Cinnabar Red, Charcoal Black, Lime Yellow and Bordeaux Pink.

The h.ear go features 2 full-range speakers 12W + 12W 35mm diameter speakers that support both Google Cast and Spotify Connect wireless as well as your standard Bluetooth wireless connections using Bluetooth 4.0 (A2DP, AVRCP, SPP, HFP). Like other Sony products, the h.ear go supports wireless NFC Tap and Go pairing and it’s ultra-portable, with the speaker ready to play for up to 12 hours on the battery inside.

The h.ear in comes with a 9mm dome type driver with 105 dB/mW sensitivity. The h.ear in, like the h.ear on as well also supports NFC Tap and Go pairing. The h.ear in earphones also offer up to 7.5 hours of music playback.

Finally, the h.ear on Noise Cancelling headphones come with a 40mm dome type driver, with 103dB/mW sensitivity. The larger over ear style headphones also come with a much larger battery life, with up to 20 hours playback using Bluetooth and Noise Cancelling, almost enough to last the 23 hour flight from here to London.

If you like the look of the h.ear in or h.ear on you’ll be pleased to know they arrived in Australia last month for $299.95 and $499.95 respectively. The Google Cast and Spotify Connect packing h.ear go arrived this month for $349. They’re available from Sony stockists around Australia so check them out.
