Nexus 7

Online retailer Mobicity have a hot deal running, they’re organising a group purchase of the 32GB 3G Nexus 7(2012), that’s right the original Tegra 3 version, for the next 80 hours. The price if they can find 10 people to join – 2 people have joined so far – is a pretty low $249.95

That is a massive saving on the normal retail price of $349.95, so if you’ve been considering grabbing yourself a 3G enabled tablet even if it’s the original Nexus 7, now is certainly the time to jump on the Nexus train. They were without a doubt one of the most popular small form factor tablets on the market and still receiving updates from Google.

The additional catch here is that there is a $24.95 courier fee on top of the price and they do have to find those 10 people to join the group buy. Still, all in all not a bad deal.

Will you jump aboard the Nexus 7 3G Group Buy with Mobicity?

I can’t believe this is an Android site and they can’t even get the photo in the article right. The group deal is for the 2012 Nexus 7. The photo in the article is the 2013 one. Got me excited for a second…

It was indeed the wrong picture, it’s been updated now. We all make mistakes no? The text of the Article did point out that it was an original 2012 model Nexus 7 though.

Having used both the 2013 model is way better. I would be interested in a group buy for a 2013 nexus 7 16 for $200 or 32 gb $250 or 3G 32Gb for $300.
