After announcing that Android Apps would be coming to ChromeOS back at Google I/O, it took a while but finally arrived last month with Vine, Evernote, DuoLino and SightWords. Of course unofficially, there’s been many more, but Google has today released three more including Onefootball, CloudMagic and Podcast Addict.

These newest Android apps use the official Android Runtime for Chrome plugin which was launched with the previous Android launch. You will need to download the Android Runtime for Chrome before installing these apps. So, what do these apps do?

  • OneFootball is a Football App in the truest sense, offering up to date news, live scores and results for the Premier League, FA Cup Champions League, Euro League, Bundesliga, Primera Division, Serie A and many more.
  • Cloud Magic is an email app for your Android phone, tablet and Chromebook. CloudMagic works with Gmail, Exchange, Yahoo, Outlook, iCloud, Google Apps, Office 365 and any IMAP account.
  • Podcast Addict is a podcast manager which will let you manage all your audio & video Podcasts and YouTube channels from your Android Device, and now your Chromebook

The new apps are now available in the Chrome Web Store, you’ll be prompted to install the Android Runtime for Chrome once you install your first app.
