At IFA in Germany this morning, Lenovo has unveiled their latest Yoga Tablet running Android, bringing the Yoga Tab 3 Plus to market.

The tablet is aimed at those wanting a great cinematic experience with Lenovo tagging the tablet as ‘Amazing Screen and Sound Replaces Your TV – Anywhere’. The tablet comes with a 10.1″ 2K display and Dobly Atmos sound pumping through a pair of front-facing JBL speakers so it’s possible this setup can deliver on its promise.

The tablet comes with the now familiar Yoga Tab hinge that gives you four modes of using it – stand, tilt, hold or hang. The cylindrical hinge has been filled with a 9,300mAh battery capable of up to 18 hours of battery life, enough for quite a few movies.

Specs:

  • 10.1-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS display
  • Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652
  • 3GB RAM
  • 32GB storage + microSD
  • 13MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera
  • 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS
  • 9,300mAh
  • 247 x 179 x 4.68mm, 637g.
  • Android 6.0 Marshmallow

The Yoga Tab 3 Plus is available in either Gunmetal Grey or Puma Black Finish with pricing starting at €299 when the tablet goes on sale in November. Australian availability hasn’t been announced at this stage, but we’ll be reaching out to Lenovo Australia for more details.

It’s November now, has Lenovo Australia mentioned anything about when it’ll be released to the Australian market?

Would be extra special if you could mention in these reports whether the tablet is 4:3 or 16:9.
