It took most of the day, but the Google Play Deals of the week are now live. This week, a very cool game called Chameleon Run, and a nice looking Weather & Clock Widget have been reduced to just 20c each.

Google Play App Deal of the Week

Weather & Clock Widget for Android Ad Free

We love checking weather on our phones, it’s good to know what the weather is like currently or going to do in the short or long term. Finding the right way to display the information is an eternal search – perhaps you’ll find your perfect widget in Weather & Clock Widget for Android.

THere’s a bunch of different sizes and styles of widgets which are customisable with loads of information including ‘showing current weather, hourly/daily forecast, moon phase, time and date, your calendar events, next alarm, battery level and loads more. You can set updates to data to occur automatically every 15 or 30 min, in hourly (1, 3, 6, 9, 12) hour increments, or just manually update it whenever you want.

The app itself looks pretty good in the preview and there’s even Android Wear support built-in.

If this looks like it has a widget or two that you’d like to use on your phone or tablet, head over to Google Play and grab it now for just 20c.

Google Play Game Deal of the Week

Chameleon Run

If you want to play one of the most frustrating, yet satisfying games ever then Chameleon Run is for you.

It’s a fun game, best explained by watching the trailer or reading the description from developer, Noodle Cake:

Chameleon Run is a unique, fast and challenging autorunner with a colorful twist. Jump, switch and run through expertly crafted levels that will have you running back for more.

Your goal is to switch your color to match the ground as you run and jump from platform to platform. Sounds easy right? Well think again!

This game is just loads of fun, and at 20c it’s definitely worth checking out.

Dan’s Deal of the Week

One of the most interesting looking deals I came across this week was Where’s My Watch, a VR experience built for Google Cardboard.

The game has high quality graphics and uses a hands-free line of site control mechanic which simply requires you to look down to move forward, or look up to move back. The story line is simple:

In this game you are getting ready to leave your penthouse apartment when you realize you do not know where your watch is. Search in every nook and cranny because your watch can be anywhere, but be quick because you have to run out the door in 3 minutes.

Very much a lot of fun, it looks great and it’s free! Head over and try it out.
