It’s always fascinating times leading into hardware releases, particularly with the quality of the leaks these days. Just last week we saw the first images of the Nest Audio, now we’re seeing actual retail packaging on shelves.

The tweet shows the yet to be released Nest Audio retail packaging on shelves at Walmart in the USA. As can be seen from the images, the packaging stands true to Google’s standard packaging: pre-dominantly white, Google branding and an image of the hardware.
A little further digging (via 9to5Google) reveals the pricing of the Nest Audio to be US$99.00 (AU$140.90 at the time of writing) which is pretty reasonable although, the pricing on the page has since been taken down.

Further images supporting the upcoming hardware releases is the information on Reddit about the upcoming Chromecast sporting Google TV.
With only a week until the expected launch of the new hardware, it seems there won’t be any surprises by the time the release comes. Whether there will be any unexpected releases coming up is yet to be seen, but Google hardware season is always a highlight for our team.
