Today is the big day that Adobe launch version 10.2 of their much loved Flash Player. This latest version brings much needed performance increases for all versions of Android even though it’s still labelled as “BETA” for Android 3.0.1 devices. There’s also better hardware acceleration of H.264 video as well as more performance from on-screen keyboard input. To put it simply, it’ll speed things up and let your Android Honeycomb Tablet join in the Adobe Flash fun. Hit the source link below to head over to the Android Market and check it out for yourself.

Whey to go Sony Ericsson!!!!!!!!! Xperia X10 users missing out on the goodies again because we are stuck on Android 2.1 . You can put your TimeSkape where the sun doesn’t shine and give as an update!!!!!!!!
Woo, Sony Ericsson!
Before I bought my Ideos, I was a bit nervous about not having Flash, but I haven’t missed it for a millisecond. Of course the Ideos is not my only device, and I usually run a Flash-blocker anyway. Cos it’s mostly advertising shite, and/or a playground for too-smart Web developers who do the WHOLE FRICKIN SITE in Flash.
So nyah nyah, I don’t give a rat’s about Flash 10.2 on ANY platform 🙂
Once again Adobe has seen fit to treat with contemptuous ignore the Android users who have ARM6 hardware.

Thanks, just installed it on the Tab & watched the engadget htc thunderbolt review video in HD. Not bad for streaming HD video. Previously on flash 10.1 it was a bit choppy but with 10.2 it was much smoother. WIN 🙂
Shame it is not available for the Legend.
Yes Andreas, I am findng this frustrating too. I have updated to 2.2 but the powers that be believe that all Legends are still 2.1 :'(
