While these tablets, and most of the Nexus family of devices that Google promised Lollipop for back in October have received their updates, almost three months after updates began pushing out, the GSM/LTE versions of theNexus 7 remain on Android 4.4.4. We hope to see more updates soon, as well as provide the OTA links once they’re captured.
My 2012 model prompted me to update to 5.0.2 OTA this morning. I’m a bit gun shy after flashing 5.0 and my tablet slowing to a crawl. Will stick with 4.4.4 for now.
I updated mine it works fine
Really hope I get this update soon on my Nexus 7 2013.
I ignored the 5.0.0 OTA in mid December as I didn’t have a fast or reliable WiFi signal, the notification disappeared after a few days and hasn’t come back since… Love Lollipop on my Nexus 4, and am getting paranoid I won’t get the chance to upgrade from KitKat on my Nexus 7 2013!
Yeah, good if you have the WiFi model. My LTE Nexus 7 is Mr Sad Pants, again 🙁
My Nexus 7 is also sad pants.
