Google has today released their February Security Bulletin for Android, and as a matter of course also released the Over The Air (OTA) images and factory images for supported Nexus and Pixel phones.

As usual there’s two versions of the security update, one dated the 1st of Feb and the other for the 5th of February. All issues are listed by their Common Vulnerability and Exposures ID (CVE). The 1st of Feb patch will contain fixes for 2x Critical, 10x High and 4x moderate issues, while the 5th of Feb patch contains fixes for all of those, as well as 6x Critical, 8x High and 5x Moderate issues.

Google has also updated their Pixel and Nexus device software page with Factory Images and OTA files for their supported Nexus and Pixel devices. Supported devices include:
Pixel:

  • Pixel (NOF26V)
  • Pixel XL (NOF26V)
  • Pixel C (N4F26O)

Nexus:

  • Nexus 6 (NBD91Y)

  • Nexus 5X (N4F26O)

If you’re wanting to update your phone or tablet manually you can download the image or file from the Nexus & Pixel Devices Software page, if you’re a little more patient, Google will be rolling out the update shortly.
