The September Android Security Bulletin has been released, announcing all the issues resolved by Google, based on reports from researchers and internal findings.

The list contains, as usual, two levels of patch: 1st of September and 5th of September, with the 5th of September patch including all the 1st of September patches as well as a couple of extras. The patches cover issues found in Android Libraries, Framework, Runtime and System, with the 5th of September containing hardware patches from Broadcom, Qualcomm, Mediatek and Kernel updates.

The complete security bulletin is available online for anyone wanting a deep dive, and to see a hat tip to the various security researchers who found the issues.

Where’s the September Security update Images and OTAs? Well, according to Google:

Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, Nexus Player, Nexus 5X, and Nexus 6P devices will be receiving the September security patches as part of the upgrade to Android Oreo.

Leaving the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 waiting for their security updates. With the Factory Images for Nexus devices page not yet updated, we’ll likely see these soon.
