HMD Global continues ‘doing it right’ today with the Oreo update for their Nokia 6 handset now available to test out through the Nokia Labs Beta program.
The announcement for the Oreo Beta has again come through HMD Global Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas‏ who announced on Twitter:
#Nokia6 is now joining the #AndroidOreo beta. Subscribe to #Nokiamobilebetalabs to get the update and help us to make the official release just right! https://t.co/91uhqstnnm pic.twitter.com/78C0ywtNfa

The announcement comes just a week after the Android Oreo Beta update for the Nokia 5 was made public. As with the Nokia 8, and Nokia 5 Android Oreo Beta, you’ll need to go to Nokia BetaLabs website, sign-in, hand over your device details and a Beta update will be on its way to you soon.
The update is for Android 8.0 and includes all the Oreo goodies you could expect including Picture-in-Picture, Notification Dots, Auto-fill passwords, faster bootup and the latest December Security update.
If you’re a Nokia 6 owner, then head over and grab a tasty treat for your phone now.
Has anyone in Australia received the Oreo update? I registered this morning but haven’t seen anything yet (I’m on Telstra)
Thanks
Same. Telstra registered for beta, no update forthcoming
