After originally starting life as an exclusively Nokia/Windows Phone music streaming app and after a private, then public beta program, MixRadio has announced that its music streaming app has gone live for Android users to download from Google Play for free.
The music-streaming service, which Microsoft sold to messaging company Line last year, serves personalised playlists to listeners for free, across hundreds of genre and artist-based channels, almost similar to what other music streaming apps and services such as Pandora provide.
Alongside this announcement, MixRadio has also announced that it has entered into an exclusive partnership with HTC, meaning that HTC users will start to see MixRadio curated stories in BlinkFeed – although this only counts if you actually use Blinkfeed.
