Templates in Docs
Google began introducing Templates to Google Docs, Slides and Sheets for Android last year, but has today announced a new range of Templates is being added, to help with documents you create for work, school or play.

The templates have been designed for Sheets, Slides and Docs by five companies with roots in various sectors. In Google Sheets, Intuit, makers of small business software Quickbooks, has introduced a new annual business budget template to help manage your budget.

Presentation application Google Slides also gets some new Templates designed by both GV a venture capital funding company, who provided a template to help businesses pitch new ideas, and brothers Chip and Dan have provided a new template based on their book Made to Stick which helps convey your next big idea which will incorporate sticky messages to help you deliver a memorable presentation. Google themselves have also created a new Slides template with a focus on creating presentations for those participating in Google Science Fair.

Google Docs will see a new template created by the team at Reading Rainbow, the third longest running children’s TV series in US history. The Reading Rainbow template will help with lesson plans and book reports for both Teachers and Students.

The new templates are available now in Google Sheets, Slides and Docs on the Web as well as in the mobile apps for Android and iOS. Check them out when you’re creating your next document.
