The other day I wrote about an app and program that Fitbit had released called Fitstar Personal Trainer. The free version of the app is nothing to write home about but the premium version certainly looked good to me. The premium version of course comes at a price that seems premium (although a years subscription is still less than the cost of a single PT session) but now Fitbit are offering a Fitstar deal to all Fitbit users.

Beginning January 15 and running until April 30, 2017 Fitbit are offering a free 90 days Fitstar Premium subscription for anyone who owns a Fitbit. All you need to do it create your account and head over to the Fitstar/Fitbit website to claim your 90 days free subscription or for more information.

The new Fitstar Personal Trainer app allows you to get fit anytime, anywhere, whether at home or on the go with adaptive video workouts that evolve as you progress. The Fitstar by Fitbit app uses your own feedback to ensure each routine is built to match your fitness level, and personalised to your strength and stamina.

As a qualified PT I can say that the Fitstar Personal Trainer app is a good substitute for a PT. It’s not perfect and does not personalise it as much as a PT should but it does a great job for a fraction of the cost.

If your New Years Resolution was to get fit and healthy now is a great time to head out and take a step in the right direction. If you own a Fitbit device logon to the Fitstar website to redeem your offer and start on the new you.
