Getting around is getting a lot easier with both cabs and Ride sharing services becoming more popular across the world. Australian taxi and rideshare booking app GoCatch is leading the way, trying to get you to your destination, on time, safely and if you use their code, a little cheaper this Friday.

Friday is of course the day back between Thursday’s Australia day public holiday and the all important weekend so going the full Aussie and ‘chucking a sickie’ is of course quite an enticing option. But if you are heading into work then GoCatch will get you there offering ‘Post-Party’ vouchers – worth $15 – for riders to share, with codes being sent out on Australia Day to users with the app installed.

GoCatch operates their own ride sharing service as well as interfacing with Taxi services but that’s all behind the scenes. All you need to do is load up the GoCatch app and request a GoCar, the service does the rest.

There will be a fair few people tying one on this Australia Day, a fact that hasn’t gone past Gen Liston, Head of Marketing and Partnerships, GoCatch who said

Every year, millions of people celebrate Australia Day with BBQs, parties and sometimes, a little too much exuberance. Our ridesharing and taxi drivers will be out on the roads, helping people get to and from their Australia Day celebrations safely. But we also know that getting into work on Friday will be a battle for some.

We were pleasantly surprised to see that so many plan on making it into work on Friday – that’s some Aussie resilience! The voucher codes will be sent to all GoCatch users on Australia Day, so we hope users will give their code to whichever friend is in for the toughest morning – a true Aussie ‘pay it forward.

Pay it forward, use it yourself, either way it’s $15 worth of ride to use this Friday and that’s something everyone can get behind. To get the code, have the app installed and wait for your voucher this Thursday.

Not an advert, we were not paid for it. Just thought people might like to get $15 off a ride. We also haven’t covered GoCatch but have covered Uber so bit of broader coverage doesn’t hurt.

Google map has similar offer…if you book uber ride through google map..you can get $20 credit. 🙂
