Wirefly, a mobile phone reseller based in the US, unboxed a Motorola Xoom on camera, and seeing as we at Ausdroid are very excited about the Xoom and its arrival here, we thought we’d share the video with you.

There’s not much to say beyond check out the video – the device looks very suave, it’s big, it’s Honeycomb, and sexy. It only has a few I/O plugs (as you’ll see), and it includes an A/C adapter as trickle-charging isn’t enough to charge the device while in use – you’ll need 5V power from the included adapter to both charge and use the Xoom at the same time.

Does it bother anyone else that there are not many dedicated Tablet apps in the Market with the Galaxy Tab out for a year already?

Bob

Why do they bother with videos about the unboxing of the device? I can’t think of anything more pointless. Show us the device in action you fools. I don’t give a nun’s cunt what it looks like in the box.

it definitely could’ve done without the 1min or so dedicated to taking the plastic off, and the 20secs explaining what a volume rocker does.
it was good to see the hardware though, but that could’ve been done in a much shorter video!

The interesting news is that there is no flash support, and sdcard is not accessible! to be fixed in coming months!
