Telstra have recently updated their software updates page on their website. New additions include the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the HTC Sensation And Velocity 4G to go ahead this month. The Samsung Galaxy S II Ice Cream Update has been handed over to Telstra for testing and they’re expecting an early April release — we’re thinking it’ll be late April. Telstra are also hoping to received the ICS update from Sony for the Xperia Arc S in the middle of this month for an early April release.

Props to Telstra for keeping us and their customers in the loop about upcoming updates for devices.

It could be late March for the HTC Velocity 4G with Telstra’s track record for dawdling.

Early March is officially done. We are now mid March. I won’t be even slightly shocked if Telstra delay it till April. Their original eta was late Feb don’t forget. To be fair I’m sure filling a Rom with bloat takes time……..

Have fun with no Facebook sync…I’d almost bet it will be 4.0.1 or 4.0.2…A step behind the rest of the world…Thanks Telstra

no Facebook sync ?

David W. Campbell

nope, ICS sense has none natively, but there are plenty of apps that do it from the “Play Store”

Once Telstra release the Velocity update, we can pinch the HBOOT files and then update to 4.0.3 on Xda Developers 😀
