It seems to be a big thing on iOS and the anticipation for the Android verison of Instagram has been pretty big. We got an update on the progress of the Android app at the recent South by Southwest event in the US where the app was described as almost ready and in some ways better than the iPhone version. This morning the instagram Twitter account tweeted a link for Android users to go to and sign up to be ‘First in line for Instagram on Android’. If you like the idea of Instagram then head over to their site and enter your email address, hopefully this means the App is not far away.

Yawn….. I think they missed the boat on this one! Most android users have moved on past wanting this app.
