Samsung

There are reports and rumours that Samsung are looking at launching the next line up of Galaxy Tab 4 tablets and Galaxy Gear 2 smart watch at MWC.

The rumours are that the new Galaxy tab 4 tablets are to come in 3 different screen sizes, much like the predecessors, the Galaxy Tab 3 series. This time round, there are a few changes and added features to the new tablets such as all tablets featuring quad-core processors, and it is likely that they could possibly come with Exynos hardware under the hood.

In addition to the Galaxy Tab 4 series tablets set to be launched at MWC, Samsung is also expected to launch the next-generation smart watch, which is believed will be called the Galaxy Gear 2. According to local sources, the Galaxy gear 2 will feature an entirely redesigned look and will most likely come with a flexible screen.

The Galaxy gear 2 is also believed, according to these sources, to be available at a more reasonable price and will have added functionality. This is something which the current Galaxy Gear smart watch has been criticised for, having cost AUD $350 and limited to the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy S4.

Samsung is looking to focus on three categories within its planned events for Mobile World Congress (MWC) being smartphones, tablets and wearable devices. Of course the Company has also hinted via its invitation sent out earlier last week, that the company is also looking to launch the next flagship device for the Galaxy series, the Galaxy S5.

Of course we will keep you up to date with all the happenings and press launches that are expected to come out of the MWC, with the Samsung being the first company to hold their event and opening MWC officially on February 24.

What do you think Samsung has in stall for us at MWC with the Galaxy Tab 4 series and Galaxy Gear 2? What would you like to see from the company spec wise and would you consider buying any of these devices when they are launched here? We would like to hear your thoughts below
