If the announcement of the first Android Wear smartwatches caught your eye this morning, then you probably are looking at the Moto 360 and Motorola are offering you the opportunity to learn more. Motorola will be hosting a Google+ Hangout with Jim Wicks, head of Motorola Consumer Experience Design as he speaks about the ‘unique design elements of Moto 360’.

The Moto 360 is quite a good looking time-piece and is the first circular smartwatch to hit the market. Watchface design from their promo video seems to take cues from actual watch design, to great visually pleasing watch faces. This move can only be described as a step towards removing the stigma of wearing a smartwatch, which have traditionally been quite, well, ugly.

If you have any interest in the Moto 360, you can sign up to view the hangout which goes live at 5am AEDT in Google+.

I reckon this time next year, Daniel will be still posting rumours about the possible release of the Moto 360 in Australia.

The LG watch? LG seems to like Australia a bit more. We might actually see that.
But I want a round one….
