Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge - Model

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge launch in Australia this week. All major carriers – Telstra, Vodafone, Optus and Virgin Mobile – are carrying the handsets, so of course you want to see what accessories are available. Samsung has announced there will be quite the range available and it looks like they’ve begun taking pre-orders on their Australian site for accessories, so what have they got?

They’ve got cases. Lots, and lots of cases. Samsung Australia has only announced plans to bring in the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in the Black and White colour options though, so this has coloured their accessory range choices.

There’s various styles of case, with the cover seemingly a popular choice. Samsung has their lowest price option, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge Protective Cover in Black for $34. If you want to go for something a little more high-end though, you can pre-order the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge Clear View Cover in Black and Silver for $79, or the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Flip Wallet in Blue or Black for $59. Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S6 S View Cover is available in White, Gold or Blue/Black for $69.

The much anticipated Samsung Galaxy Wireless Charger has been put up on the Samsung Australia website, but it’s not available for pre-order as yet. No pricing has been attached at the moment, but it will only be available in Black as far as we can tell. Pricing should be announced further down the track.

There’s a few third party cases on the Optus website, but nothing on the Telstra eBay site as yet, nor on the Vodafone accessory store.

There is of course plenty of cases, docks, mounts, wireless chargers, screen protectors and more available for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge from the Ausdroid shop.

Yeah I’ve ordered a spigen case for my up coming S6 edge. But the see through flip case does interest me as well… I’ll go check it out at the Samsung store

Most likely going to go with Spigen. They’ve never let me down, always gone with them for every phone. I also recommend them when relatives ask me what the best cases are.
